Maison calls your store's editorial space the "journal". Articles are written in your Shopify admin, under ContentBlog posts; the theme controls how they're presented.

Each article is shown with its image (landscape format), date, author, title, and an excerpt: the one entered in the article, or if there isn't one, its first 28 words. Pagination appears when there are more articles than the number per page. A blog with no articles shows "There are no articles in this blog yet.".

The title and details are centered, the featured image shows in landscape format, and the text is set in a comfortable reading column. Article tags aren't displayed.
Comments
Comments are turned on blog by blog, in your Shopify admin: go to ContentBlog postsManage blogs, then choose the blog and a Comments option (disabled, allowed pending moderation, or allowed without moderation).
When they're turned on, the article shows:
- the list of published comments ("Comments (3)"), 20 per page;
- a Leave a comment form with Name, Email, and Comment fields (all required) and a Post comment button;
- on a moderated blog, the notice "Comments are reviewed before they appear.".
After submitting, the shopper sees "Thank you. Your comment will appear once it has been approved." (moderated blog) or "Thank you. Your comment has been posted.". Pending comments are moderated in your Shopify admin, from the article.
