Best practices
- Accessible label: if the content is important (a form, a size chart), give it a name; it becomes a landmark that screen readers can jump to directly. Leave it empty for decorative content or an app integration.
- Use theme text styles: leave it on so your headings, lists, and links match the theme. Turn it off if the app brings its own styles.
- Width: Page aligns the content with the page, Narrow limits it to a reading column, and Full width runs from one edge of the screen to the other.
Empty section
Until code is entered, the section shows "Nothing here yet. Add Liquid code in the theme editor.", including on your online store. Remove the section if you're not using it.
A Custom Liquid block also exists for inserting code inside a section, for example on the product page. See Content blocks.
